Let me start by saying, I have never been diving before, unless you count snorkeling in Cornwall or France when I was, ahem, a lot younger.
Now just in my forties and after having a serious health scare last year, I have decided to have a go at everything that I have either been to nervous or to busy to try.
Started with archery, now diving, which brings me to my review of Manta Diving Lanzarote.
I did my research before booking and spoke to a few dive companies in Lanzarote. As soon as I got in touch with Rachel at Manta, I knew I was dealing with someone with a passion for what she was teaching. Later that day I had booked my Open Water Diving course..
On arrival at Manta, I was greated by Rachel and Ollie who both had massive smiles and put myself and the two other people on the course at complete ease. Next came briefings and equipment set up and then into the pool, which was so awesome.!!
Later that afternoon more briefings and equipment setup and we were told we were going into the sea, which was only a really short walk down a gentle slope. All the time being reassured by Rachel, Ollie and George.
If you have never been diving in the sea... DO IT!! DO IT!! DO IT!! I can't put into words what it was like for me. It blew me away.
Now I have passed my Open Water Diving course and have already booked my Advanced Open Water Diving course for later this week.
Thank you so much guys. You have opened my eyes to a whole new world. Love ya. Twiggs x
